Plant Anatomy Primer is an introduction to the cells and tissues of a typical dicot stem. The project was originally developed to assist a class of introductory biology students with a particularly difficult lab exercise. The project proved effective in quelling student’s frustration and reduced the amount of time it took them to complete the lab. The original version was developed in SuperCard in 1996. In 2002 the project was revised and ported to the Web and is the version presented here. It should prove useful to anyone wanting a simple primer on basic plant cells and tissues.
